Cake Classes

Would you like to learn a new skill or consolidate your cake decorating knowledge? Are you thinking of starting a new hobby? 

If so, please come and join us and create beautiful cakes, learn to make sugar flowers and decorate elegant cupcakes. Classes are held at our home near Bicester or in a venue nearby dependent on class size. 

All materials and tools are included for you to use during the classes (unless otherwise stated) . Drinks are provided throughout the day and a light lunch is also included in some full day classes. There will also be cake obviously! You only need to bring lots of enthusiasm. Come and learn with us!

one-to-one tuition

If you like to learn at your own pace or concentrate on specific cake decorating techniques, we offer one-to-one tuition in our home for £275 per day including all materials and a light lunch. If you would like to share the costs and the fun with a friend, the rate reduces to £199 each (to a maximum of 3 people). Below are examples of what our students achieve in two days. 

Classes will take place at The Rosehip Bakery, in Caversfield near Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX27 8TW or at a venue nearby.

Class Fee to be confirmed  Please contact us to express your interest. Some experience of making wired sugar flowers is essential and places will be limited. 

The talented Angela Morrison is coming all the way from the USA to teach exclusively at our school!

Based upon her Award-winning design from the Cake International competitions in 2017, this brilliant new class from Natalie Porter of Immaculate Confections covers a wide range of skills - by the end you will be a colour- clever, sharp-edge, flower-making, petal-dusting pro!

Techniques covered in class include:
• Using dark navy fondant to achieve those desirable and elusive sharp edges
• Making a range of wired and unwired flowers and foliage - Anemones, Thistles, Roses,    Filler flowers, Berries
• Using colour and petal dusts to bring your work to life, creating a striking colour palette
• Constructing a simple wire frame to make and support the antlers
• Wiring and taping everything for a realistic finish
• Arranging everything on the cake to create this unique and modern wedding design
