About Us

Emilie and Isabelle Isabelle grew up in France and starting baking from a young age with her grandmother. She created all of her children's birthday cakes (and usually their friends' too!) so you could say she has baked and decorated cakes all her life.

She worked as an NHS midwife until very recently when she decided to make cakes full-time. 

Her latest passion is vegan baking, you would be surprised at what can be achieved without eggs or dairy! Her on-going passion is creating beautiful sugar and wafer paper flowers. 

Emilie started baking with Isabelle when she was about 4, it must be in the genes. 

She has a creative and artistic background and a great eye for detail. She recently became mummy to Fleur, let's hope Fleur has inherited the baking gene too!

Emilie loves using her art knowledge to paint on cakes and create gorgeous colour schemes. 

We are mainly self-taught but have been lucky enough to attend courses with some talented international tutors. We both enjoy learning new techniques, allowing us to offer a wide range of designs to our clients (our challenge for this year is piping). Several of our cakes have been published in magazines and included in blogs. 

We teach in our kitchen and organise guest tutor courses which have proved very popular. 

We have both completed a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and our business has been fully inspectred and approved by Cherwell District Council.
